On my fourth day in D.C. I decided to wake up early and head over to the Lincoln Memorial before all of the crowds showed up. That was definitely one of the coldest days I've ever experienced! It was so cold the night before that the reflecting pool froze over! What was fun though, was that a couple of people were breaking off chunks of ice and skipping them across the pool. The ice on ice created a really pretty wind chime sound!
