Twenty and Four

May 29, 2012
I'm officially twenty-four now! On Sunday my family came over for an early birthday celebration filled with lots of food and dessert. See that ice cream cake? It was THE best ice cream cake I've ever had! Anyways, I had an amazing birthday thanks to my friends and family. I can't wait to see what this next year in my life will bring.  :)

I need to take more photographs like this.

Postcards

May 22, 2012

Okay, first of all, I swear that these are the last of my photos from The Flower Fields. It's just that I went back 2 weekends ago with my mom (for Mother's Day) and obviously couldn't help but take more photos.

Anyways, I've realized lately that I've been posting a lot of regular/common snapshots rather than more meaningful/artistic photographs. And don't get me wrong, I love showcasing my "daily life" photos, but that isn't what this blog is about. I need to get back to basics. I need to work on creating more photographs that I'm inspired by. That's my new goal for the future.

A Note on Succulents

I have to say, succulents have grown on me quite a bit. They just might be my new favorite plant!

Eighteen

May 15, 2012
On Sunday my family got together to celebrate my cousin's 18th birthday! I can't believe he's technically an adult now! The best part about celebrations in my family is all of the delicious food. In fact, my birthday is coming up at the end of this month and I've already started planning out the menu. I can't wait!

My aunt threw a barbeque at her house on Sunday night. That gave me the opportunity to snap a few photos of this little cutie.
