Did you know that the Cheesecake Factory sells cupcakes? Apparently they do, and I had no idea until last week when I came home to a 4-pack of their red velvet cupcakes. Thanks Mom!

A couple of weekends ago, my cousin and I were supposed to head over to the Rose Bowl Flea Market for the first time. Unfortunately our plans were derailed by a little bit of early morning rain. By the time the sun came out, it was already too late to drive over to Pasadena. So instead, we decided to peruse the local swap meet!

In the Midst of a Snowstorm

Two or three times a year, when the conditions are just right, snow falls in the lower elevations of the mountains behind my house. On Wednesday my cousin and I decided to make a spontaneous trip into the mountains, hoping to find a few inches of snow. Little did we know that we'd end up driving into a winter wonderland! Neither of us were properly dressed for the cold weather, so we were pretty much freezing the entire time lol. Nevertheless, it was still a fun way to spend the afternoon!

the third photo was given to me by my aunt almost a decade ago! It's one of my most cherished pieces of

There's nothing I love more than discovering new cupcake shops, and oh man is this a good one! Merely Sweets is a cute little dessert shop located in Downtown Brea. They sell all sorts of yummy desserts including cupcakes, macarons, and cake pops. But there was one item in particular that I just couldn't walk away from once I saw it: a Nutella cupcake. What can I say? It was simply delicious!

How cute are these origami flowers?
They're the perfect decoration for my desk! And what's even better is that they're super easy to make! All you need is a single square piece of paper and this video. Ruche created a whole bouquet of these flowers for their Valentine's Day feature and as soon as I saw it, I knew that I had to make one for myself. Michael's and I are best friends these days lol.

Have you ever felt the need to just spontaneously go on an adventure? Well, that's what I've been feeling for the past month, which is why on Monday I drove down PCH to Crystal Cove, a beach that I've never been to before. Wow. That place is simply magical.
