2011 Leftovers

December 31, 2011

A few random leftovers from this year: 1. A fruit stand at Cal Poly Pomona's pumpkin festival 2. Christmas tree lights 3. An extra photo from this shoot 4. The visitor center at Storm King 5. Lumpia (yum!) 6. The amazing Mille Crepe Cake from Lady M Confections in New York 7. A view from the High Line 8. Art at The Met.

I thought that I wouldn't have time to make another post before the new year, but lo and behold, here I am! Oh 2011, you were a learning experience to say the least. But I cannot wait to see what 2012 has in store for me. My new year's resolution is to make changes for the better. What's yours?

Happy New Year's everybody!

There are a lot of days where I just feel like jumping on a plane and traveling somewhere new.

I Still Believe in Fairy Tales

October 24, 2011

As long as places like Central Park exist in the world, I'll always believe in stories of magic and
adventure and castles and princesses.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

October 6, 2011

Oh how I love the Met!
This was my second visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and it was even better than the first! It's
impossible to see everything that this museum has to offer in one trip, which is why I had to come back for another adventure through its collections. But I have to say, my favorite part of the Met will always be its Greek and Roman art galleries (this coming from someone who was a classics major in college, haha). If you're a museum-lover like me, then you have to visit the Met at least once in you're lifetime. Trust me, it's an amazing experience.
