I thought that I wouldn't have time to make another post before the new year, but lo and behold, here I am! Oh 2011, you were a learning experience to say the least. But I cannot wait to see what 2012 has in store for me. My new year's resolution is to make changes for the better. What's yours?

Garrett Popcorn

For Christmas I received a Garrett Popcorn Shop gift certificate (aka "the best present ever"). Garrett Popcorn Shops is a Chicago-based popcorn company that's been around since 1949! I first tried their delicious popcorn back in 2007 and let me tell you, it was some of the best that I'd ever tasted! My tub of CaramelCrisp popcorn arrived earlier today and I've been snacking on it ever since. Yum!

Since this will probably be my last post of 2011, I hope that everyone has a happy and safe New Year's!

Christmas (Tree) Shopping

Last week my cousin and I spontaneously ventured into this Christmas tree farm. I've never really cared too much for real Christmas trees. My family's been using the same plastic one for the past ten years! But now that I've seen them up close, I totally want one! Or maybe I can ask them to chop down a little one, so that I can finally live my dream of owning a Charlie Brown Christmas tree.   :)

In other news, I've been feeling the travel bug real bad lately. I'm this close to jumping in my car and taking a 1,000+ mile road trip in the beginning of 2012. I've never driven that far by myself before, but man am I looking forward to the adventure.

Christmas Time is Here

Alright, so I've been MIA on my blog for awhile now and to be honest, it's probably going to be like this until after the holidays. But I'm definitely glad that Christmas is just around the corner. I'm super excited to start wrapping presents! Plus, *NSYNC's Christmas album has resumed its spot in my car's CD player. 

All is right in the world.  :)
