We Chase the Sun: Part 1

It all started with a text message from my best friend at 6:50 in the morning, saying that this sunrise was one of the best she had ever seen. Five minutes later I was in my car, racing towards the highest point in my neighborhood. Yes, I realize that I might be slightly crazy for spontaneously jumping out of bed just to take a few photographs (especially since I had to get ready for work in about an hour), but that's just how I am these days. Certain things in life (like an epic sunrise) are worth a little craziness to me.

And Then There Were Roses

So guess where I was this past Monday? The Rose Parade in Pasadena! It was so cool to actually see all of the floats up close and in person. I've watched the parade on tv my whole life, but I never thought that I'd actually go one day. The streets were ridiculously crowded, but luckily my friend and I found a secluded spot right behind the crowds and in the shade. It was the perfect location for viewing the parade!

Take a Breathe and Listen

Happy New Year!!!                 

It's finally 2012 and I am super excited for a fresh new start. My new year's resolution for this year is to make changes for the better and trust me, that is exactly what I plan on doing. First of all, I'm going to be taking way more photos than ever before. I'm also determined to learn as much as I can about editing techniques in Photoshop. Oh and guess what? I finally started a Pinterest account. At some point this year, this photo shoot idea is going to happen. You guys, 2012 is going to be the year that everything changes. I can just feel it.
