Okay, first of all, I swear that these are the last of my photos from The Flower Fields. It's just that I went back 2 weekends ago with my mom (for Mother's Day) and obviously couldn't help but take more photos.
Anyways, I've realized lately that I've been posting a lot of regular/common snapshots rather than more meaningful/artistic photographs. And don't get me wrong, I love showcasing my "daily life" photos, but that isn't what this blog is about. I need to get back to basics. I need to work on creating more photographs that I'm inspired by. That's my new goal for the future.

There was a really wonderful crafts fair at The Flower Fields last weekend. I snapped a few photos of some of my favorite items. If only I had the money to buy them all! My friends tried the strawberry short cake and they said it was delicious!

Yesterday I finally visited The Flower Fields down in Carlsbad, CA and it was simply breathtaking! There's
nothing quite like being surrounded by 50 acres of colorful, vibrant flowers (ranunculi, to be exact).
Photographing a place like this has been on my "photo bucket list" for ages, and I'm so happy that I had the opportunity to see such an amazing landscape with my own eyes. I definitely plan on visiting The Flower
Fields again next year (and possibly every year after)!
