The Tillamook Creamery

November 3, 2018
On my way back to Portland, I was able to make a pit stop at the Tillamook Creamery! I was most looking forward to their food hall, which has an ice cream counter that serves every single flavor of Tillamook ice cream, along with a bunch of other cheese-centered menu items! There's also a factory viewing deck, free cheese samples (yum!), and a gift shop that would be heaven for any cheese lover. It was definitely a nice place to take a break on my drive back from the coast!

Sunrise on the Oregon Coast

It was 40 degrees outside, but the experience of walking along the beach as the sun was rising was well worth it!

Cannon Beach

October 20, 2018
I made a trip up to the Oregon coast to visit a place that's been on my bucket list for awhile now: Cannon Beach. It's honestly one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. I spent an entire afternoon just walking up and down the shore with my camera and it was a great reminder of why I love to travel. I'm grateful that I have the privilege of dipping my feet into water that's in another part of the world. There's no other experience like it.

Multnomah Falls

January 13, 2015

So I pretty much fail at life. While I was organizing all of my photo folders from 2014, I stumbled across these photos from my trip to Portland last March. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT I FORGOT TO POST THEM!

So to pick up from a few months ago, after visiting Wahkeena Falls I drove 0.5 miles down the road to Multnomah Falls. I would just like to point out that I was terrified at this point because the road was narrow and it had recently SNOWED (southern California driver = useless in snow conditions).

Anyways, the drive through the snow was worth it because Multnomah Falls is gorgeous! The trail to the falls was covered in slippery ice and snow, but that didn't stop me (and a few other brave tourists) from heading up haha. Unfortunately we could only go so far because the bridge was closed down due to rock damage. It's been almost a year since I was there, so I'm hoping that the bridge has re-opened by now. I'd love to visit during the warmer months (when the trails aren't covered in snow) and hike to more waterfalls. This could be another trip that I add to my 2015 list!

All I can say is that I was not ready for this green and white wonderland.
