So yesterday, my friend and I rode the
OC Fair Express down to the
Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa. Riding the bus is so convenient because not only do you save on gas money, but you also receive a voucher for $3 admission into the fair! If you know me at all, then you know that I am all about saving money haha!
Anyways, I always attend the county fairs for one thing:
food. The deep-fried cookie dough at Chicken Charlie's never disappoints, and you can't really go wrong with a Great Western sausage from Juicy's. This year I even got to watch a donut-eating contest. All of the contestants were blindfolded and had to eat a donut that was hanging from a stick! I was *this* close to entering, but I guess I'll just have to wait and prepare for next year lol.
Today's the last day of the OC Fair if you're interested in going. But if you can't make it, the
LA County Fair will be back in Pomona in a couple of weeks! I'm so glad that it's finally fair season!
