One week ago I went to Warped Tour for the very first time! The highlight of my life of the day was seeing Yellowcard perform live. Their music has been a part of my life for the past decade! I still remember listening to "Way Away"
on repeat while playing SSX3 back in high school (haha). Anyways, I didn't take too many photos because sometimes you just gotta put the camera down and enjoy the experience!
Favorite moment: Singing along at the top of my lungs to the lyrics of "Only One", surrounded by hundreds and hundreds of people doing the exact same thing. Amazing.
Last Thursday I took my cousin over to Handel's for the first time. They have $1 Scoop Thursdays which is clearly the best idea that's ever been invented! We ended up trying chocolate malt, praline pecan, graham central station, and banana cream pie. The banana cream pie ice cream was my favorite, hands down! I can't wait until next Thursday to try more of their flavors!
Suite 106 Cupcakery is a wonderful cupcake shop located inside of the food court at Victoria Gardens. The owners are 2-time winners of Food Network's Cupcake Wars (my favorite show!). On Monday I tried their Belgian Chocolate Banana cupcake for the first time. It did not disappoint! I'll definitely be buying that one again in the future!
So anyways, the food court has these beautiful wooden crate walls that I've never photographed for some reason. I guess it's because there's normally a lot of people around. I had some fun in Photoshop and stitched two photos together to make the image below. It's one of my favorite shots! Plus, that area is the perfect spot to enjoy a yummy cupcake! :)
On Saturday I went out with a few friends to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner. Their five cheese + fresh tomato pizza was scrumptious! I'm hoping to try the four cheese ravioli next time. A couple of my friends had that dish and it looked delicious! Of course, everything looks delicious to me haha!
So I mentioned a few days ago that I wanted to open up an Etsy shop. These are some of the designs that I've come up with so far. I'm still in the process of polishing up the final product though. Next I'll need to create more inventory. If this doesn't work out, at least I'll have a bunch of cute new necklaces to wear around haha!
I love spending my mornings at the flea market. Where else can you get a t-shirt, 2 pairs of socks, 3 bottles of nail polish, a bracelet, and a yard of fabric all for a grand total of $13? PS The yard of fabric is for some necklaces that I'm making. I'll show photos soon!
I've been seriously, seriously thinking about opening an Etsy shop for awhile now. If I did, I'd sell necklaces like the leather collar necklace featured in the photo above. I also have a few other necklace designs in mind. It's just an idea that'll stay in my head for now.
