Last weekend a few friends and I went to Color Me Mine for the very first time! It was so much fun (and also a little overwhelming) picking out what colors and designs we wanted to use. You can't see them all in the photo above, but I ended up drawing a million little dots on the inside/outside of my bowl. I can't wait to pick it up next weekend and see how it turned out!

Cutie Patootie

Last week one of my oldest friends came to town for a visit! I spent an afternoon with her, her husband, and their adorable 2-month-old son. It should be noted that on this day the word "cute" was used many, many times.

Sprinkles Ice Cream

Now if you know me at all, you know that I am a major cupcake addict. Sprinkles is pretty much all I talk about, so imagine my excitement when I heard that they were opening an ice cream shop!! I finally got to visit Sprinkles Ice Cream in Beverly Hills and it was a dream come true! The inside of the store smelled just like their cupcakes! And the ice cream? Delicious, of course!

The only downside was that the Sprinkles ATM next door was out of order. I'm coming back for you, Sprinkles ATM!!!

Breathing in Salt Air

Melrose Trading Post

Last Sunday my cousin and I made a field trip out to the Melrose Trading Post for the very first time! Wow! I've never seen so many vintage items in one place! As you can tell, I pretty much had to photograph everything in sight. It was a good way to spend the morning.

Dollar Scoop Thursdays

Handel's $1 scoop Thursdays are going to be my downfall. I just can't resist their amazing selection of flavors! My four cousins and I tried FIFTEEN different scoops of ice cream last Thursday! Banana cream pie is still my absolute favorite flavor, but chocoholic peanut butter ripple (seen in the 3rd photo) might just be a close second. Other flavors featured (in order): butter pecan, vanilla w/ oreo, caramel pretzel crunch, red velvet, mint chocolate chip, chocolate chocolate chip cheesecake chunk, cookie dough, and strawberry. Phew! What a list!

The Happiest Place

I spent last Saturday at Disneyland (!) with a few of my closest friends from high school. It was an amazing day filled with fun conversations in line, yummy desserts (the only reason I went to Downtown Disney was to buy beignets lol), and of course, the rides! But the best part was that I finally got to see Cars Land over at California Adventure. Radiator Springs Racers is officially one of my new favorite rides over there! Oh Disneyland, until we meet again!
