Craft Time in Carlsbad

                      

There was a really wonderful crafts fair at The Flower Fields last weekend. I snapped a few photos of some of my favorite items. If only I had the money to buy them all! My friends tried the strawberry short cake and they said it was delicious!

Yesterday I finally visited The Flower Fields down in Carlsbad, CA and it was simply breathtaking! There's 
nothing quite like being surrounded by 50 acres of colorful, vibrant flowers (ranunculi, to be exact). 
Photographing a place like this has been on my "photo bucket list" for ages, and I'm so happy that I had the opportunity to see such an amazing landscape with my own eyes. I definitely plan on visiting The Flower 
Fields again next year (and possibly every year after)!

Raindrops on Roses

So if you live in southern California, you know that right now it's pouring everywhere! I briefly stepped outside to take these photos during a break in the storm. Now I plan on spending the rest of the day wearing fuzzy socks, eating ramen noodles, and catching up on my favorite tv shows. Also, I totally failed at posting photos this week. I'll try to be better next week. Enjoy your weekend! :)
