     All of these photos were shot at a park right next to my old middle school. Man, do I miss those days.

On a Bed of Roses

If I die young,

I swear these are the last of my photos from Storm King Art Center. It's almost been 2 months since I was there, but that day is one that I won't forget for a long time.

1. Thought of You by Ryan Woodward - I discovered this video a few days ago. The animation is simply beautiful!

2. "Why Does Graduating From College Suck So Hard?" by Ryan O'Connell (via Thought Catalog) - Are there any other post-grads out there that feel the same way?

3. Music of the week: 1) A Thousand Years by Christina Perri 2) Disaster by JoJo (I'm so glad that she's back!)

4. Portraits by Steve McCurry - If anybody wants to get me this book for Christmas (or any of his books, for that matter), I would love you forever. He's one of my favorite photographers and his work is a major source of inspiration for me. 

And by the way, these photos were all shot on film with my Diana Mini. Oh how I love film.  :)

Walking the High Line

Let's be honest. If I had a few extra hundred dollars lying around, I'd be on the next flight back out to New York by the end of this month. I think that New York City has become a sort of escape for me. These photos were shot at the High Line, a former rail line on Manhattan's West Side that was later converted into an elevated park. It's a photographer's dream! The architectural designs, the landscaped pathways, the variety of plant life...all of it! I'll have to post more photos soon so you can see what I mean. But trust me, if you're ever in New York, the High Line is definitely worth a visit!
